FX's 'Pose' gets a premiere date and new details on season 2!

Our favorite show of last year is (almost) back!

The FX gods have finally released a few new details about the sophomore season of Pose, including a summer release date and a time jump.

Season two pushes our familiar cast of characters, including Billy Porter, Indya Moore, and Mj Rodriguez, to the year 1990 — the day Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ is released. Not only coming to grips with the commodification of their culture, this season the characters will also be grappling with the AIDS crisis reaching a boiling point.

Showrunner Ryan Murphy stunned the cast last month when he announced at Paleyfest that Broadway legend Patti Lupone will also be joining the cast for Season 2.

Pose season two premieres Sunday, June 9th on FX.
