If you’ve been paying any attention, you’d know that Jupiter Velvet is doing the fucking most.
Spotlighting recently at Queer performance festival favs like Bushwig and Wigwood, this 22 year old Latinx drag performer has made a strong name for herself beyond the confines of a social media queen. Fostering the local Miami drag scene with her infectious energy and signature Patrick Nagel style, Jupiter’s star is definitely on the rise.
In addition to being interviewed for WUSSY volume 5, she was recently in ATL to host This Free Life’s Play Pajama Party at the Moxy Midtown with our Culture Editor, Ivana Fischer. Iv sat down with Jupiter to talk about her creation, inspiration, and identity within the Miami scene.
