It's been over five years since Phoenix graced the RuPaul's Drag Race mainstage and her mug is not the only thing that's changed. You might know her from her time on RPDR, but these days Phoenix is known around Atlanta as the HBIC of the city's most popular drag spots.
In her role as entertainment director of Burkhart's Pub and Jungle Atlanta, Phoenix has helped bring some amazing talent to ATL. She also shines a light on some upcoming local queens with newcomer competitions like Dragnificent and Dragnique. Fun fact: WUSSY Talk host, Brigitte Bidet, actually took home the grand prize at Dragnificent in 2015, following in the footsteps of queens like Violet Chachki and Evah Destruction.
Lucky for us, Brigitte Bidet got the opportunity to sit down with this busy business fish and talk about her career, her stint on RuPaul's Drag Race, and what's next for Phoenix and Atlanta.
